| 2007-present | Texas State University San Marcos, TX Instructor – Basic Drawing Instructor for basic drawing class in studio art foundations department. Designed introductory drawing course which covers basic beginning drawing skills including sighting techniques, contour drawing, gesture drawing, perspective, and value. Responsible for all course content and grading for sections of 20+ students. Austin Community College Austin, TX Instructor – Introduction to Visual Arts, Art History I (Survey of Ancient to Medieval Art and Architecture), and Basic Drawing Lecturer for art history courses and basic drawing. Presented material in the form of slide-based lectures and lead class discussions. Introduction to visual arts covered variety of art historical topics and periods with an emphasis on the formal elements of art. Art history I encompasses Ancient – Pre-Renaissance art and architecture with a focus on the Western tradition. Responsible for all course content and grading for sections of 25+ students. |
